After much effort,
Something wonderful finally happened...
The very first time ever since I work in this ward...
Something difficult to achieve, and hard to believe...
We manage to have an empty cubicle!! (In fact the ward is really quite empty - only 10 patients!)
Imagine everyday in the past 6 months we are having a ward-full of patients and even bed extensions at times...this scene is considered a miracle.
(From right) Me, my 3 good housemen - Jasdeep, Suha, Loh, and Prema my ward partner MO.
.
So the conclusion is, when there are no patients, the docs are really happy! ;)

can start to feel the stress building up... dunno why.. LOL.
lol...good for u!
i rmbr the time when i was having medicine postings and d ward was so empty. We the medical students were grumbling about the lack of patients but everyone else was elated, happily chatting and relaxing. We were stressed cos no interesting case to present.
Life is so ironic!!
btw just wondering, do docs still hvta wear labcoats while in the ward?
coz i imagine tat wil be very hot n stuffy for them...and its not very hygienic as well?
hahaha...no wonder Suha can visit D2 so often yesterday....
mich: No patient in the entire ward? Sounds never possible but we'll try hard to achieve k..hehe
Shinyin: Hihi..I read ur diary..makes me really recall back the time when I first started..luckily I had a blog and I wrote it down..very special memory it is!
bingwui: Yo bro, stress building up when seeing an empty cubicle? Not the other way round?;)
cutelittleangel: Ya you're right..an "interesting" case to medical students is usually the one causing much headache to the ward docs..
zzzyun: Yes, it's super hot and can cause you a heat stroke. But ya, HOs still have to wear it..
KitJ1ng: Suha is bit out of her mind dy. These few days she kept complaining to me that she's bored. I guess she's a real workaholic - she prefers a full hectic ward! hehe
